probably a real poem for a real girl...

She sprouted from the Garden of Edens,
With bangles of rosemary and velvet dimes,
Which chimes in the whistle of time,
A beat sparkling the rivers of Salsabillah,
A feat only a fairy could have match.

She cried amongst the sky,
No comfort or liberty,
Adam was in lust,
Alas, he vanished between the dust..

What beauty that bestowed upon her,
But to not hide from grievances,
Love wont want no women to cry,
Only a tango dance with the stars,
Will make the tears pretty dry.

And she still seeks to be in love,
For love gives her something to think of,
To be the envy of her companions,
And to let all endings be a triumph!

To fall in love with a poet,
Yes she did.
Yes she will.
Again.....

Created this whilst doing desk duty the other day..hahahz..and i bet itz again guessing time for those who r pretty much kepo! Well, guess lah korang..if im noble enough, i shall reveal the person who...hahaz..

Salsabillah is a river in Jannatul Firdaus for all of you who dont realise.
Hmmz, what if i tell the person that this is for you? maybe she will go: "oh! ok!"

It helps if your camp is just by the sea, airport and seaport to come up with something like this..hehehez

the truth of hari raya..

The pretentious and hypocritical Malay society right here in Singapore will yet again celebrate the first of the 2 hari raya festive according to the secular calendar of Ammino Domini(A.D), and not based on their Islamic Hijrah calendar set by their Rasul s.a.w(PBUH).

Truth is, the secular calendar right here in Singapore is not really accurate in terms of measuring the actual day for the 1st day of Ramadhan and the 1st day of Syawal. All of this has been predetermined, using mathematics and calculus, totally ignoring the beauty of noticing the signs of Allah- in this case the presence of the crescent moon at the first day of every month of Ramadhan and Syawal.

Such ignorance and lack of obligations to such acts will only allow the Islamic population right here in Singapore to fast a day more compared to their Muslimin and Muslimah counterparts in the Middle East considering the discrepancies and differences in the calendar.

And how unfortunate such a phenomena has happened in Indonesia. The Muhammadiyah clan, declared Hari Raya on the 23rd of October, whilst the Indonesia government suited their needs and only pronounced hari raya on 24th October.

It is funny to some, serious matters to the proceedings of the Ulama at Al-Azhar. Im sure its a serious matter. Its a matter of faith and belief, and believe many would be in extremely confusing state, considering the decisions they make would pertain to sah, haram, dosa, or could even leads to syirik.

Imagine this: Muhammadiyah clan has already celebrated Eid Mubarak, whilst others are still fasting. And Prophet s.a.w has already mentioned that no one is to fast on Eid, as it is haram. So a portion of the population is celebrating, and the others are fasting! Im really praying this dispute could be settled based on the real teachings of Islam.

Yes, no doubt Hari Raya Aidilfitri, or Eid Mubarak in Arabic, will be celebrated on 24th October 2006, equivalent to 1st Syawal 1427. And i have no reservations whatsoever that Friendster, myspace, blogs and other online journals shall be flooded with an abundance of hari raya posts, pics and images. In probably a few days time, blogs will be filled with stories pertaining to events, happenings and cliches of Hari Raya 06.

How superficial and morbid the Malay society here that many failed to make the most of the holy month of Ramadhan, but placing a greater emphasis on Hari Raya itself. They dressed up in the most beautiful of clothing, probably in the category of a materialist nonetheless.

Only that if they realise in their hearts that He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

Yet, they deny every favor God have asked them to do!

Celebrating Hari Raya here in Singapore has a number of shortcomings, which sadly will kill the meaning of Hari Raya itself eventually. The reason why I pointed out this is the fact that I had the chance to celebrate Hari Raya at Makkah Al-Haram, a holy land in the Islamic eyes besides Madinah and Jerusalem.
Was it the stark culture differences that shaped the foundations of celebrating Hari Raya here and making the most of Ramadhan? Isit the case of Iman here?

The teachings of Islamic studies here has its own set of politics. There are discrepancies no doubt. But one thing for sure is that every word and syllable of the Quran and Ahadees has not been changed or altered!? Have they not realised that HE has taught (you mankind)the Quran (by His Mercy). He created man and He taught him eloquent speech.

Yet, they deny every favor God have asked them to do!

Why is then the number of jammah at Al-Haram increased when Ramadhan is nearing its end whilst its the opposite case right here in Singapore? Why isit then Muslims at Al-Haram strives to get close to God as close as possible by reciting the Quran and performing Qiyamulai, but on the other hand, Muslims here would rather indulge themselves in shopping and preparing for the festive season at a much larger scale?

Didnt they realise that it is the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever in their lives?

Yet, they deny every favor God have asked them to do

P.S: Some words are taken from Surah Ar-Rahman

P.S.S: Its the dawn of age right, im not surprised these are the signs...
